What it is

A digital path to a real part.

3D project development starts with what exists: a broken part, mating geometry, photos, dimensions or a working idea. That reference becomes a revisable CAD model, a prototype when useful, and a production-ready direction.

It is especially useful when standard supply has ended, a product needs a custom fit, or a component needs to be understood before it can be made again.

Where it helps

Built for the part
that is not on the shelf.

01

Replacement parts

Explore a route for discontinued, unavailable or damaged components using the original and surrounding interfaces as reference.

02

Product customization

Develop adaptations, mounts and refinements that respond to the dimensions and use case in front of you.

03

Reverse engineering

Recover geometry and functional intent from an existing component, assembly, image set or measured reference.

04

Functional prototypes

Use a physical iteration when fit, clearance, mounting access or assembly needs to be evaluated.

Our Process

A visible path
from reference to print.

  1. 01 / Capture

    3D Scan

Capture the usable geometry and reference surfaces, or organize the information already available.

  2. 02 / Develop

    CAD Modeling

Rebuild the part as a controlled model with the interfaces, clearances and intent in view.

  3. 03 / Check

    Prototype

Test a practical iteration when the real-world fit needs more evidence than a screen can provide.

  4. 04 / Deliver

    Final Print

Prepare the selected material and output path for the part’s intended application.

Material direction

Match the material
to the job.

Material selection depends on the part’s environment, flexibility, heat exposure and loading. These cards describe common directions, not a guarantee of suitability without evaluation.

01 / General purpose

PLA

Useful for fit checks, presentation models and light-duty prototypes.

02 / Durable utility

PETG

A balanced option for many functional parts where toughness and moisture resistance matter.

03 / Heat exposure

ABS / ASA

Often considered where higher temperature performance or outdoor exposure are relevant.

04 / Flexibility

TPU

For flexible, impact-absorbing or grip-oriented components.

05 / Strength

Nylon

For parts that may benefit from toughness and wear resistance.

06 / Reinforcement

Carbon Fiber

For selected engineering materials where stiffness and refined surface detail are priorities.

Project direction

Before: missing.
After: mapped.

A broken bracket or missing component is not automatically ready to copy. The useful work is understanding the mounting surfaces, load direction, material constraints and required fit before the replacement path is selected.
